The good news is I emailed yiynova.eu directly and they promptly clarified that they offer 2 years pick up and return warranty within the EU when buying from them or through amazon, the price has no effect on the service and is only greater with amazon to cover their fees. I was previously reading the terms that are shown when attempting to make a return, which seem to be a little out of date and only refer to shipping the item yourself. So good luck to you too, and while I hope you never need to make a warranty return you at least shouldn't be out of pocket.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5594743723349178702.post-958236088347496982014-09-25T14:47:35.450+01:002014-09-25T14:47:35.450+01:00Hi there!
First off I'm going to apologise as...Hi there!

First off I'm going to apologise as I don't think I'll be much help in answering your question. However, I've had my Yiynova nearly eight months now, and the only complaint I have it the rubber grip tends to rotate around the pen (but I've easily fixed it with glue). I've had no problems with it so far, and it's working great over a multi-screen set up, but the adapters that came with it - VGA to Mini USB etc - were cheap and didn't connect well, meaning I did have to get a new one to keep the display from wavering. With Yiynova 22HD you do also sacrifice having a pen tilt when drawing, which the Cintiq 22HD features, but having never used it anyway it doesn't bothered me.

When I was first deciding which tablet to get, it was originally between the Wacom Cintiq and the Yiynova and I decided to go with the Yiynova in the end. For the UK the prices are currently:

Cintiq 22hd: £1,500 (Amazon UK)

yinova 22hd+: 898.99 euro (From Yiynova Europe, which is around the £700 mark currently, but I think I paid more, including Exchange rates)

My logic was, after reading many reviews of Yiynova 22HD, that they seemed to perform well. I'm hoping my screen will last me the next two-five years, two of which are covered by warranty. I figured if it were to break about three times in that period, it would still be cheaper for me to send it for returns than buying cintiq - as Yiynova's return postage is free.

So in the end I made a choice to go with the Yiynova, and it's working for me so far. However, if you're from the UK the Yiynova is available from Amazon currently here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/YIYNOVA%C2%AE-MVP22U/dp/B00MLG3W4M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411652302&sr=8-1&keywords=yiynova+22

And it's listed as having two years pick-up and return warranty, which may be better than buying straight from the Yiynova site if you decide it's right for you. It wasn't available from an amazon UK listing at my time of purchase :(

Anyway, I hope some of the above information helped, and good luck in finding a screen right for you!

Kind regards -

Vanessa
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07902079237445285202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5594743723349178702.post-69676188002277173512014-09-24T17:28:33.856+01:002014-09-24T17:28:33.856+01:00Hi, thanks for the post, I'm seriously conside...Hi, thanks for the post, I'm seriously considering getting one of these after reading about it only 4 days ago, but I would like to know one thing: What's your plan if you need to make a return under warranty? The website states this is at the user's expense, and all the shipping quotes I've seen were in the region of £100+. Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
